*On Sunday, March 12, 2017, the firefighters of Plain Township New Albany lost a beloved brother of the department – David “Beau” Schoener. He passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack at his home at the age of  39. To honor Beau and help raise money for Beau’s young son Jake, the fire department held an inaugural golf outing. After seeing the outpouring of support NAFF was born to not only assist Jake but to reach more families in need. The Plain Township New Albany Firefighters Foundation (NAFF) was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2017. The mission of the NAFF is to honor and support our proud firefighter brotherhood and all first responders providing resources, scholarships, and assistance to first responder families.
