An Interview with Rick Hendrick & Chase Elliot

The Elliott name has been prominently featured in NASCAR for nearly 40 years, and Chase Elliott is doing his part to keep it that way for decades more. The 20-year-old Elliott notably has won in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, the ARCA Racing Series, the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, and countless late model racing series. Elliott started his inaugural Cup season in 2016 with a bang taking the pole at the Daytona 500 and then raced his way into the Chase for the Sprint Cup as only the third rookie to ever make the sport’s playoffs. Chase was named the SUNOCO rookie of the year in 2016.

Rick Hendrick is the founder of the national car retailer Hendrick Automotive Group and owner of the Hendrick Motorsports enterprise. Now one of the sport’s premier operations, Hendrick Motorsports has garnered a NASCAR record 13 owner’s championships and 14 overall. The team’s roster of stock-car drivers includes Kasey Kahne, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Chase Elliott. Hendrick is second on NASCAR’s all-time Cup wins list and top-notch for their continuous work to grow in character and servant leadership.
